Frank Ostach aka Frankie "O"

On April 29th of 2010, some Friends and I pooled some money together for the upcoming Roger Waters tour, where he would be performing the wall. I took the money and handed it over to Frank Ostach and was given a receipt of sale and a promise to have the tickets as soon as they went on sale. Frank was my baseball coach growing up and I had run into him many times over the years at various events. I came to know Frank as a ticket broker and had gotten tickets off of him many times. So as the date of sale came and went, I called Frank and found him to be a bit elusive. Over the course of the summer I called him upwards of twenty times and was always told the same thing, "the tickets are being held and I will have them for you asap". So, when the it got to be around September, I started to ask Frank for a refund so that everyone could have time to buy tickets of their own. One of the group members even was able to get tickets right off of the computer for face value in the 16th row center stage. So, it wasn't like they weren't available. Frank did not give the refund and we did not get our tickets.
It is now May 16th, 2011 and still I have no tickets and no refund. I am posting this as a warning to other. during the past year I sent messages to others who knew Frank. One mutual friend told me of a story how Frank told him he would get tickets for him to see a game in New York. When he took his son and wife there to see the game, the tickets were not there and he had to buy other tickets. I'm sure there are plenty more. So, just be careful. Even if you think you know someone, they can be going through a hard time and your money is a possible escape for them. Frank is nothing more then a thief and a liar. This was a very expensive lessen to me and my family. I hope that one day he will be brought to justice for this but the criminal justice system doesn't have much time for this sort of thing.
