How can you call him poor
When he has so much inside
So much to give, so many to guide.

When you don't even know his name
Haven't walked in his shoes, or felt his shame.

When he can create a priceless life
The welath of his children or perhaps his cherished wife.

When he has richness in his blood
While you stand and watch as he pulls another victim from the flood.

When there is faith in his bones
